We’ve said it many times before – networking and the relationships that result are often as important as the technical sessions featured at the conference.

That might sound odd but when you think about it, it makes sense. Getting to know new people and rekindling old relationships enables you to learn new things, learn about new opportunities, and build networks that can provide benefit long into the future. 

We’re happy to announce a new networking social for Thursday evening following programming starting at 5:30 pm ET.

The social will be held at Hickory Tavern in the heart of the Vista, which is just across from the Alumni Center. The physical address is 907 Senate Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

We’ll be on the outside patio, so we’ll be easy to find. Also, we’re happy to pick up the first $1000 in beverages for attendees.

Finally, we’d like to thank the City of Columbia economic development team for partnering with us to make everything possible. They work hard every day to build the technology community in the Midlands, and Open Source 101 is no exception.
