Lee has been in information technology for over 20 years. He has been a teacher, mentor, and consultant focused on information technology value through enterprise application integration and application modernization. His experiences span verticals including transportation, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications and insurance. Information technology should be an enabler to simplify business processes by automating tasks and enhancing decision support. He is an advocate of open source by contributing to projects at Apache, Eclipse, and Fedora. He currently works at GitHub working with customers to streamline their application delivery toolchain and mentors companies on git, CI and CD best practices.

Maria is a software developer who has experience working on hardware and software projects, as well as teaching technical subjects to children and adults. Maria provides mentorship and training through several organizations focused on expanding the technical literacy of underrepresented groups in tech.

Jim first chose open source in 1999 when he ran Apache on FreeBSD, set up his first FreeBSD server from scratch in 2001 and first installed an open source product professionally, FreeBSD 4.5 and Samba over an old Windows NT 3.5 Server, in 2002. Serge, a Software Architect at Kublr, has 20+ years of experience building systems and applications at scale. A passionate advocate for all thing Kubernetes, Serge leverages service meshes, hybrid clouds, authentication/authorization/SSO, and API governance to build custom solutions for large enterprise clients. He holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Novosibirsk State Technical University. When not architecting software, Serge can be found producing music for children theater or sound engineering for various performances.

Dan Zaratsian is a Cloud Solutions Engineer at Google, specializing in real-time analytics and machine learning solutions. As part of this role, Dan works with clients to architect end-to-end solutions, quickly prototype ideas, and deliver analytical applications on Google Cloud while using open source technology. Dan received a M.S in Analytics from NC State's Institute for Advanced Analytics and a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron.

Peter has spent many years as both a Software Engineer and Product Manager at various organizations including Electronic Arts, Google and Cisco. Peter Lamar is currently a VP of Technology at CargoSphere and thrives on challenging problems and building awesome teams.
